.

National fencer Enver Yıldırım qualified for the Paris 2024 Olympic Games by coming first in the men's sabre category at the European Fencing Olympic Qualification Tournament held in Differdange, Luxembourg between April 26-28.

In the organization, our athlete, who defeated Israeli David Frumgarzts 15-10, Spanish Santiago Madrigal 15-12 and Romanian athlete Iulian Teodosiu 15-11 in the final, received the visa for Paris.

Yıldırım became the first fencer in the history of fencing to qualify for the Olympic Games by making a quota in the men's sabre event.

We wish our national athlete success at the Paris 2024 Olympic Games where he will represent our country.
