National athlete Oğuz Uyar, a 2nd year student of the Department of Coaching Education, who took the track in the 200m at the Tyson Invitational competitions held in the USA, broke the Senior Indoor Turkish records.

Oğuz Uyar, who finished first in his series in the 200m final race under the coaching of Çanakkale Youth and Sports Provincial Directorate Athletics coach Vijdan Berberoğlu, became the new holder of the Senior Turkish record with a time of 21.07. Our national athlete Uyar, who ranked 7th in the overall ranking, improved Anthony George Smith's 21.19 time of 21.19 by running 21.07, improving it by 12 seconds.
